About Me

I started my journey as a photographer over 6 years ago to help a friend with her business. I was her second shooter for whatever she needed and loved it. She trained me and taught me so much. I started working as the lead photographer on projects. I loved photography then, but when I became a mom the reason why I loved photography changed. I first loved it for the beautiful pictures, the fun I had getting to know the couples I worked with, and the amazing settings. As a mom, it became so important for me to capture the milestones and the little moments in between of my kids that I wanted to hang on to forever.

Beyond photography I am a wife and a mother of two and a doggo mom! I grew up in NC, but moved to Texas 8 years ago. We are so glad to be back in NC and are loving spending any free time in the Mountains skiing this winter or catching waves at the beach in the summer! I went to school at ECU and then at Texas A&M and have three degrees in Education. I love that I get to teach and be a photographer, its the perfect career balance for me!
